Ippolito-Stellato has been devoted to quality since our firm was first founded in Lyndhurst half a century ago. Our stately center-hall colonial home in Fairfield was built by the Doremus family a century ago as a private residence. The revised structure retains the home-like ambience of the original building while offering all the amenities and conveniences of a modern one-level funeral home.
We're not merely a funeral home, we're a family-type of home--a place for your relatives and friends to gather for support.
Our Fairfield location was established in 1988 and incorporated into Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Homes in 1992 with Louis J. Stellato appointed as President
At Ippolito-Stellato, we have created an atmosphere designed to be comforting, encouraging an easy, hospitable atmosphere for family togetherness. Our Fairfield location is cozy, though spacious, with a residential appearance and Includes the following features:

We know the pain of losing someone you love. Overcoming grief can be easier with support. Stellato Funeral Homes serve families of all ethnic backgrounds. We offer pre-need and after-care counseling as well as holiday grief counseling and seminars.
We want to relieve your family of as many burdens as we can. Legal issues, proper attention to newspaper announcements, transportation for family and friends, ceremony coordination are examples of our doing all we can.
